Lovely! The moment I saw it I was simply blown away so stunning it is! I soooooooooooooooooooooo envy the commissioner I don't see what can be made better? To me it looks beautiful and perfect! Maybe what you can do is make the bottom line blur into the black line more so there would be a smoother transition effect...

Oh Gryph, I lurv you and your rabid use of emoticons! Don't ever stop And are you sure it don't seem a little empty? I feel that there are parts of the picture that look empty and pull your eyes away O.o
Still, I just may have been staring at it for much too long. Granted, it looks WAY better on a black bg than a white/green one, and the colors are pretty cool.
As for you suggestions, I ain't exactly clear on what ya mean Do you mean I should dull down the decorative line and the slogan beneath the name? Or use a Gaussian blur on both of them?

Mouse power all the way man! lol Took me a damn hour and 30 minutes to finish it. You need LOTS of patience and to not be afraid of redoing an entire lock of hair. It's a slow process, but it looks good in the end Still I want a freaking tablet!!

No, no, no... Keep the text and the pic unchanged...I meant the image and the black below...Make the pic's blue (visible especially to the left...) smooth into the black line below...gradually...And I think you should apply a transparency gradient...
If I didn't explain well, do tell me...Now I can't but tomorrow I can take your pic and rework it and darn better show you what I meant Sometimes I wish people could communicate telepathically...that could solve some communications probs
